1. GUITAR WARS: WIN $15000 in Cash & Prizes - Enter Guitar Wars Competition! The Garage presents Guitar Wars! Bands will be competing for $15,000 in CASH and prizing. It is free to enter and all genres of music accepted!
I am pleased to be a judge at the finals on June 12, 2010.

2. Country Music Association on Ontario (CMAO) FREE Seminar: Saturday February 27, 2010: The morning session is “Sources of Funding presented by FACTOR”. The afternoon session is “Date With A Demo” with panelists singer, songwriter and musician, Joan Besen, of Prairie Oyster, Brian Allen, Record producer and songwriter, and Amy Aust, (Afternoon Drive announcer on KICX). It will be held at the FACTOR office, 30 Commercial Road , Toronto M4G 1Z4 . These sessions fill up very fast so if you are interested and are not already registered I suggest you do so by registering at info@cmaontario.ca. If the February session is full I strongly suggest you register for the one in March as the information presented is invaluable. See you there!
3. CoffeeHouse Cabaret & Open Stage (Show Starts at 8:30pm): I will be guest-hosting the CoffeeHouse Cabaret at TKO’s Sports Pub on Tuesday March 9th, 2010 (located at 1600 Danforth Avenue – near Coxwell). Come out and sing a few tunes with us or come and enjoy the music of the other artists. Guest-hosting the Coffeehouse Open Stage gives me the opportunity to share the music of my students with you so come out and say hello, we’d love to meet you. The two feature performers that night will be Helen Cortez www.helencortez.com (Pop / Adult Contemporary) and Taivi Lobu (Folk).
4. U of T Radio: I am happy to let you know that I will be sitting in with Nik Beat, U of T radio host with CIUT FM. 89.5 FM I will keep you posted on the date and format/guest for the show so you can tune in. You can hear Nik on Tuesday starting at 10:00pm
5. IndieCan Radio: As you know, IndieCan has made enormous strides in giving indie artists a platform to have their music heard. Joe Chisholm, IndieCan Host and Producer, will be featuring a segment with me covering different aspects of voice. Joe offered to be my guinea pig! This one will be a blast so I will keep you informed of when it will be aired. www.indiecan.com
